Portland to Vancouver to Frankfurt to Zagreb

Back by popular demand...(aka dad told me on the way to the airport I needed to write another blog for him and mom not to worry...)
This will my second attempt at a travel blog. (Hopefully more entertaining and better edited than the first). Jensen and I will both be writing the posts to fill you in on our adventures as they happen.

Woke up so excited! We flew to Vancouver and had a 6.5 hour layover... Which mainly consisted of us playing german whist 100 times, eating terrible sushi, and drinking quite a few delicious cocktails-- thanks for those Canadian dollars, Dad!
We realized too late that Condor, the airline on our leg to Frankfurt, is the shittiest airline ever. They wouldnt seat us together, Jensen was in the back of the plane (very last row next to the bathroom) and I was up front in a middle seat. There were no tvs, terrible food and no free alcohol! ...I miss Lufthansa :(

We got to Frankfurt at noon, which was 4am PST so we were quite tired (we didnt sleep much on the plane) and had a two hour layover. Mostly we ate a giant bratwurst and groggily played even more german whist.

Things went fairly smoothly on the next flight. We slept the whole way (only ~1.5hr) and arrived in beautiful Zagreb! Where it is 80 degrees and sunny, very laid back vibe with people sitting in parks and biking along the large bike paths. Our hostel we walked to from the bus station and immediately went to bed.

So excited to be here! I love it already:)

  1. I can't believe you guys packed so light. Well, as Grandpa Howard used to say, "they have stores there."
    I miss you already!
I like the new format and the swimming fish!
