Off to Italy!

No problem. My bags weighed a mere 15.5kg and 17kg respectively (you are allowed up to 23kg before they are considered overweight. Yesss! Room for another few bottles!...it cost me 50€ to check a second bag:( so I really need to make it worthwhile. )
Spent my last 12kuna on a chocolate bar. Now it's down to Euros and Swiss francs. Ouch.

I am drinking a cappuccino at the airport now. The guy was surprised I wasnt Croatian--- our "Dober Dan" and "cappuccino, molim" have gotten so good!

Now I need to practice my "buon giorno, uno cappuccino, per favore"

After a quick flight from Dubrovnik to Rome (wish I could have seen more of Rome than just the airport!) had a delicious focaccia pizza slice and read more game of thrones--halfway done with book 4!

Made it to the hotel in Lucca after a very frustrating time trying to get the bus the woman told me... Only to discover she was wrong about the schedule! . Waited in an hour outside the airport in the sun for nothing oh well she gave me a free train ticket after which got me to pisa center then to Lucca then took a 15€ taxi to the hotel/restaurant where I'm cooking for the next week!

Had to rush to the class and forgot my phone so sorry no food pics today:( but we did make some amazing stuff!
was the only one today, just me and the chef/owner. We made 5 different pasta sauces and chicken stock and base tomato sauce annnnd pork tenderloin with lemon cream sauce (soo good!!) and chicken cacciatore and 3 diffetent bruscetta toppings and tiramisu !

It was great. I've polished off the majority of a bottle of chianti at this point and need to shower and be up to leave for the fish market at 8am!
