Saffron

Went back to the spice market yesterday and got a lesson in what makes good saffron (the cheap saffron is "Turkish saffron" which is apparently not very good at all), the redder the better and Iranian brand is best and very expensive, the Indian saffron is sometimes dyed to look more red than it actually is. Saw more beautiful mosques and an Islamic art museum with some impressively old and ornate furniture pieces, ate some kebab and some delicious sesame bagels that they sell on the street everywhere. Im about to set out for another day of exciting wandering and maybe I can upload some pictures from my phone tonight. There is so much to see!
